Created with great attention to detail, I will work with you to capture your pet's unique personality, and provide you with a long-lasting tribute to your best friend. Please review the information below if you are interested in booking a pet portrait.
Please review my standard sizes and prices. If you would like a custom size that is not listed feel free to inquire and we can discuss whether it will work for a portrait. Pricing varies depending on the size, number of pets in a portrait, and complexity of the background. Please see the pricing and sizing guide for more information.
Having a clear, well lighted photograph of your pet is essential, as it will help me capture their best likeness. In general, the more detailed the photo is the more detailed the portrait will be. I understand however that there are circumstances when you may not be able to provide a high quality photograph. In this case, providing multiple photos will give me different perspectives to work from, and help me convey their unique personality. Reference photos can be sent directly to artbytaylormarie@gmail.com
After we discuss the details of your portrait, including the reference photo(s) and size, a 40% deposit is required to hold your spot on my calendar. Once I have started working on the portrait, or it has been more than 10 days after booking, the deposit is non-refundable.
Once your portrait is booked, I'll let you know approximately when to expect the completed piece! Please expect it to take anywhere from 2-8 weeks for your portrait to be completed. Each piece is unique, and depending on the size and complexity it could take more or less time to finish. Prior to shipping and upon completion of the portrait I require the remaining balance be paid.
Shipping costs are included in the price of the portrait. All artwork with be well protected and shipped unframed and unmounted, as there is a significant chance of glass breaking during transit and damaging the portrait. Currently, I ship within the US only, but I hope to expand to international shipping in the future!
Once you receive your portrait it is important to properly care for it so that it lasts for many years into the future! Pastel portraits are delicate in nature and can smudge easily, and are also affected by moisture. I highly recommend taking your finished portrait to a professional framing shop soon after it is received.
